Prior to the performance of Sumeida's Song, we will present a short concert of works by Mohammed Fairouz, followed by a brief intermission. Performers include Christopher Skyles, Jason Carlson, Kathryn Satoh, Matt Blanks, and Rena Ahmed.
On 10/24, 10/31 and 11/8, we will not offer a concert. Instead we will have presentations from special guests from the Egyptian community. On 10/24, we are honored to have Dr. Muhammad Eissa. 10/31, we are honored to have Ahmed El-ghandour, Dr. Fouad Teymour, and Hani Khalil. On 11/8, we are honored to have the Consul General of Egypt.
As part of our mission, we hope to inspire conversation amongst our audience members. As such, we will be holding "talk back" discussions with our director, cast members, and special guests after the performances on Friday 10/23, and Saturday 10/31, and Friday 11/6. We hope you will join us.
