Angela Born (Patience)
Commended for her “fire and conviction” on stage, Angela Born is committed to bringing artistic integrity and authenticity to her performances, and is thrilled to have the opportunity to perform the role of Patience in Paula Kimper’s trailblazing opera Patience and Sarah. The following year, Jenna was selected as an Artist Diploma candidate. She has had the opportunity to sing such roles as the title role in Puccini’s Suor Angelica, Lady Billows in Britten’s Albert Herring, and Madame Lidoine in Poulenc’s Dialogues of the Carmelites. This year she was selected as a semi-finalist in the New York Lyric Opera Competition. She also had the opportunity to participate in the first annual Dramatic Voice Symposium at Loyola University in New Orleans singing for Metropolitan Opera legend, Greer Grimsley. This summer Jenna was a soloist in the recital Depths hosted by the Art Song Collective & covered the role of Mrs Grose in Britten’s Turn of the Screw with Chicago Summer Opera. When he isn't singing, you can catch him knitting or cuddling with his favorite cat, Norma, or his favorite human, Mitchell.

She has also been featured on Jake Burns’s recording of Irish folk rock, "Drinkin’ Again", on the EMI UK label.

Since graduation Tracey has performed professionally and studied with Annie Picard, Allison Meuth, and Dr. Kerry Walters. She also teaches private voice lessons and works in the music business. Her performance credits include the Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Hannah in Mr. Silver's Children, and Mrs. Phagan in Parade. Tracey was a selected soloist with the Peoria Municipal Band and has performed with the Knox-Galesburg Symphony Orchestra. Since moving to Chicago last year, Tracey won second place in her division at the Chicago National Association of Teachers of Singing Competition and has successfully auditioned for various companies.

Currently, Ms. Trembley is a private music teacher, a manager for Opera on Tap Chicago, and a freelance performer. Ms. Trembley is thrilled to be making her Third Eye Theatre Ensemble debut as Ma Dowling in Patience and Sarah.

Upcoming engagements include Il Commendatore in Don Giovanni with Petite Opera Productions, Le Gouverneur in Le comte Ory with Transgressive Theatre-Opera, and Betto in Gianni Schicchi with New Moon Opera Company. Previous appearances include Warlock Jarthel in Cosmic Ray and the Amazing Chris with Thompson Street Opera Company and King Balthazar in Amahl and the Night Visitors with Up A Tree Productions. In Spring 2019, Kota will complete his M. M. in Voice Performance at Roosevelt University where he performed Badger/Parson in The Cunning Little Vixen, Tempo/Il ritorno d’Ulises in Patria and Der Schultz in Heimke aus dem Fremde.

Thomas Bailey is an Illinois native and a strong advocate for new music here in Chicago. He received his MM from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, and currently studies with Allan Glassman. His most recent performances include Chicago Fringe Opera’s production of The Great God Pan, and Music Theatre Works’ production of Pirates of Penzance. Later this season he will continue to work with Chicago Fringe Opera, as well as Janus Concert Series and Davenport’s Piano Bar.

Amy Speek is returning to performing after about 15 years. During her time away from singing, Amy lived and taught elementary school in Belgium, and raised 3 children. Now that the kids are all in school full time, Amy is dedicated to performing and singing again. Currently, Amy is pursuing a career in opera and teaching private voice lessons. Recently, Amy was a finalist in the Sinonietta Bel Canto vocal competition along with her daughter, Mika, who was also a finalist in the Little Stars division. Amy performed in the chorus for Cendrillion with New Moon Opera, Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci with Main Street opera, and in SBC’s The Merry Widow. Amy earned her Master’s degree in Opera Performance from U of I and participated in several opera productions there. Her credits include, A Spirit in The Magic Flute, Countess in The Marriage of Figaro, and Rose in Street Scene. Amy has also played Fruma-Sarah in Fiddler on the Roof and participated as an ensemble member in several musicals around the North Shore.

Emily was the soprano resident artist with Chicago Opera Playhouse for the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons. Her one-woman show, Swipe Left, was chosen as part of Indianapolis' 2018 'Diva Fest', and will be a featured production of the 2018 Chicago and Elgin Fringe Festivals. Other Chicagoland credits include the Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company, the "D:Activate" concert series in correlation with the City of Chicago, Chicago Folks Operetta, Music for Theatre Chicago, Petite Opera, Main Street Opera, Devonshire Playhouse, Opera Book Club, Davenport's Piano Bar, Classical Revolution, the Floating Opera Company, and NONOpera. An enthusiastic supporter of new music, Emily serves as the Managing Director of Underscore Theater Company, a local company who specializes in workshopping and producing new musical theater works.

Alexandra Enyart (Conductor)
Alexandra Enyart is a rising orchestra and opera conductor. Her performances have received positive reviews from The Chicago Tribune, Chicago Classical Review, schmopera and many others. As an active performer in Chicago Alex serves as Music Director for Thompson Street Opera Company and has worked as a guest conductor for Chicago Fringe Opera, Another Voice Collaborative, The Chicago Vocal Arts Consortium, and Third Eye Theatre Ensemble. Alex received her Masters in Orchestral Conducting in 2017 from the University of Lousiville as a student of Kimcherie Lloyd. As a transgender conductor, she has a specific passion for gender equality and diverse gender representation in music.

Shelby Krarup (Stage Manager)
Shelby Krarup has worked extensively as a stage manager for everything from corporate events to regional opera, including an annual Broadway-based music festival in NYC. Company member of Third Eye Theatre Ensemble. She splits her time managing with costuming, hair, and special effects make-up endeavours, both for theatre and personal enjoyment. Away from the theatre, her time is spent crafting, knitting and occasionally using her dual focus degree in voice and violin performance.
